Printable Disney Planner: Tips for Adults

My goal at Low Key Disney is to provide ideas for adults who want to experience Disney in a way that feels meaningful and relaxing, but still fun. My approach is a little more slow-paced but that way, I feel like I appreciate so many of the small but intentional touches and moments that went into creating these unique lands.

Part of my personal mission is making that journey a little easier and more affordable for other adults like me…or maybe adults and older children.

One thing I realized is that planning a Disney vacation is a lot of work. There are so many details to note and remember. It was becoming overwhelming! So, I created this Disney Planner for myself. I wanted it to be small and light so I could put in my park bag, but also include all the information I needed to have at my fingertips, like my hotel room confirmation numbers and flight arrangements.

Now, sure, it is the 21st century. I suppose I could keep all this information on my smartphone and of course, my phone is indispensable for lightning lanes, park updates and such. But you know what? Sometimes, my phone overheated in the parks. Sometimes, I just couldn’t read it because of the glare of the Florida sun. I started wishing I had something I could read that was easy — and customized just for me.

I made this on Google Docs (so I can share it with you) and I formatted the pages so they fit into a lightweight, 4′ x 6″ mini photo album. Well, they fit AFTER your print them on 8-1/2″ x 11″ paper and trim them with scissors, of course!

I took it on three trips and I just love it. Do you want to try it? Just print the pages that you want. You can customize them, too, on Google Docs. Change the font, make it bigger, add your own notes. So your trip is as unique as you are :)

Here is what I call the “Starter Pack.” It’s 36 pages of tips and hints. Plus a fun cover for summer. When you go to this link, click “copy” and it will make your own file in your Google Docs account that you can customize, as you wish. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1G4owxqeRG4Tms7ZNLisXqVWBwVRLy90jMrM3w2flXGc/copy

If you don’t want to fool around with Google Docs and you want them just like I wrote them, well, here is a PDF of the Starter Pack.

I’ll be adding more on this blog — sample itineraries, guides for festivals, tips for staying comfortable and more. Look for those in upcoming posts. The next one coming up is for Fourth of July! With a fun Fourth of July cover!

I hope you like your Planner. Let me know your thoughts…
